SpiderFoot Acquired by Intel 471 — Domain Now Redirects

What Happened

SpiderFoot, the popular open-source OSINT automation platform, has been acquired by Intel 471. The original domain spiderfoot.net now redirects to intel471.com.

Impact

The standalone SpiderFoot brand is being folded into Intel 471's product suite. The open-source SpiderFoot project remains available on GitHub at github.com/smicallef/spiderfoot, though the commercial SpiderFoot HX product is now part of Intel 471's offering.

What This Means for Users

• Open-source users: The GitHub repo is still accessible. Community contributions may slow as maintainer focus shifts to Intel 471.
